All Rubber Plants are very large, Established plants!

A spectacular indoor pot plant or outdoor canopy tree. Thick glossy leathery leaves which range from burgundy red to almost black. Cutting the tops off will cause side branching which easily enables a staggered bushy look when grown as an indoor specimen.

Synonyms (AKA): Rubber Plant
Typical height: 2m (in pot)
Climate: Quite cold tolerant. Grows well in most parts of Australia.
Light conditions: Part shade / shade if grown in pots.
Growth habit: Wide spreading canopy
Growing conditions: Moist well drained soil.
Can be grown in relatively low light levels indoors, though best kept near a big window where it can get some direct sun, or at least bright light.

If you have heating units or air-conditioners, it is best to avoid placing plants underneath or next to them. This is because of the air blowing out from these units can be extremely hot or cold which can leave a healthy plant burnt, damaged and stressed.

We recommend the Australian made Munash Organics soil food & foliage spray or The Plant Runner Plant Food or neem oil to keep you plants happy and healthy!
