Janny’s range is inspired by the native flora & fauna of Tasmania, and each piece of jewellery is unique, individually crafted in response to the line, shape and texture of the material at hand.
These earrings are designed with a foraged sprig of King Billy Pine and cast using Sterling Silver.
Athrotaxis selaginoides is a species of Athrotaxis, endemic to Tasmania, where it grows at 400–1,120 m altitude. In its habitat in the mountains, snow in winter is very usual. It is often called King Billy Pine or King William Pine although it is not a true pine but a conifer.
