Bees wax has a long luminous history!

Before the discovery of electricity bees wax was predominately used to make candles. Candles made from bees wax has many benefits from those made from tallow or other artificial products like paraffin wax a byproduct of petroleum refining- they burn without creating greasy, sooty and smelly smoke or toxic chemicals, instead they leave the air smelling of a pleasant honey smell!

Why choose bees wax candles?

Bees wax is renewable, it is a by product of honey production unlike paraffin wax a byproduct of petroleum refining.

Bees wax is an air filter, bees wax candles omit negative ions when burning. This removes dust particles, allergens and harmful bacteria from the air. Paraffin's are toxic like burning a tyre in your living room.

Bees wax burns longer, bees wax has a higher melting point to that of soy or paraffin so they will burn for longer creating a warm inviting yellow glow.

Fun fact bees wax is carbon neutral, bees wax candles are recognised as carbon neutral by the WWF, as the carbon emitted by the burning has already been removed from the atmosphere by the bees in producing the wax!
