Did you know I am made from ZERO waste?
With forethought, great design and deliberate engineering we are able to produce our new range of ZERO waste earrings, a collaboration between our in-house designer Bre & our production manager Sally, both of which are committed to our ever-increasing range of ZERO waste, re-imagined products.
We have been able to make a tactile range of earrings literally from what would normally be waste, landfill, in the bin, not loved off-cuts.
Who is Wormy Chestnut?
Eucalyptus Obliqua, Eucalyptus Sieberi, Eucalyptus Fastigata
Wormy Chestnut is a premium Australian hardwood timber he has been affected by wildfires, years of drought and attack by insects. Flood and strong winds stunt his growth with each piece showing nature's signature. Deep red gum veins formed by fire, ambrosia beetle marks, pin holes and squiggly worm marks are all evident. Also known as Southern Blackbutt, Chestnut.
No wonder this guy looks weathered!

Note: Due to the organic nature of the timbre each earring and pair will vary in their markings this is exactly how they should be and are not a fault but the pure beauty of a natural product.
