Make for a fun and practical gift.
Made in Hobart Tasmania these original grate plates are for fresh garlic, ginger, nutmeg, almonds or anything you would like to grate and add to a dish.
Each individual plate is hand made and hand drawn with its own grate area and a little brush to sweep the grated herb.
Grate plate tip: try adding a little olive oil to the plate before grating to make your own garlic oil for cooking.
You can also use it as a dipping plate . Pour a little oil on the plate grate garlic or chilies or anything else takes you fancy. Mix and serve with fresh warm bread...yummy!
