I have always loved to draw from an early age and studied art all through my 6 years at Hobart High School. I became a school librarian and always enjoyed any opportunity to put up displays!
In my 50’s I attended a free botanical art session and was hooked for life! Over the next 20 years I participated in many workshops, entered gallery displays and learnt as much as I could in the various art mediums.
In 2020 I began to incorporate plants with native animals and subsequently published a non fiction picture book for children called Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, all about our native animals and their diets.
Moving back to Tasmania in 2021 I have drawn many of the local Tasmanian animals in watercolour and scraper board. We are so lucky to have many of them in our gardens in the West Tamar area, an inspiration for any artist.
