The Central Highlands of Tasmania holds our family history, my father hands down from my grandfather and his brothers to us the stories of lives spent wandering the central highlands, walking the lakes and lagoons, fishing and exploring. My grandfather and his brothers pioneered the first shacks and roads built on the central highlands with few of them remaining today after Hydro Tasmania pulling them down. Sad to say we have lost a lot of our early history and our heritage, so I am trying to capture it and share it to keep it alive!
