Our new season staple organic cotton poplin tanks are designed to pair with our culottes, Pelican Pod pants, skirts and more! It looks great with a scarf, chunky necklace or just on its own. Made from certified organic cotton poplin, it will wash and wear like a dream and natural fibres keep you cool no matter what happens.
What is Poplin?
The name Poplin refers to a particular weave which comes from a French origin dating back to the 19th century. Women were looking for a practical fabric which looked dressy but at the same time easy wear and durable which would be comfortable to wear all day long. It is an amazing weave featuring its magical qualities of fine yet durable lustrous dull sheen yet perfect for day wear. It is totally breathable and does not retain heat and it doesn't wrinkle easily along with a lovely handle and drape.
