Bay of Fires
The Bay’s iconic name comes from Captain Tobias Furneaux as he sailed past in 1773, spotting Aboriginal fires lighting up the coast line. Evidence of these first Tasmanian inhabitants in the form of shell and bone piles (middens) are dotted in and among the grass. The name could also apply to the brilliant orange lichen that grows on the granite boulders lining the bay.
The Cocoon dress is architecturally designed to create a cocoon shape with each panel engineered to create a drape and fall for an interesting forgiving style. Mid length front and longer back along with the extended shoulder line completes this avant-garde look with dual pockets it functional not just pretty.
Guaranteed to feel and look as pretty as a spring garden this dress is fun, easy wear and a total show stopper. Wear with white sneakers or flats for a casual weekend look or heels or wedges for a garden wedding, lunch date or everything in between...even better this fabric is NO IRON so it travels like a dream
Made in Tasmania from 100% organic cotton double muslin it has a super soft hand feel, printed with our exclusive patterns.
Styling tip add a matching belt, earrings, or hair tie! If you feel apprehensive wearing a belt, my top tip is always belt directly under your bust. As we get older our waist is not always our best feature, we can create feminine curves when belting directly under the bust without the stress of highlighting our tummies!

Fitting Tip: The key to getting the perfect fit with your Cocoon Dress is all about fitting your bust. As the the dress is loose and lovely and super easy going you need not worry about the waist and hip measurements. If the bust fits the rest will fit. Measure carefully around your fullest part of your bust with a flexible tape measure and compare to the garment measurement chart. For example if your bust measures between 111cm -120cm your size will be L/XL.
