Our story is one of eco love!

Adorn yourself with treasures from ancient forests near and far, this collection features Tasmanian specialty timbers including Huon Pine, Myrtle, Eucalyptus, Blackwood and Sassafras, mixed with recycled metals & glass from tribes in African (fair trade of course), we combine beads made from bovine bones that are beautiful tactile and authentically cool also from Africa (one of the things we love that the entire cow is honoured & used) while providing much needed income for women in the villages.

The POP comes from using the vibrant Tagua Seeds, found in the swampy shadows of the tropical rainforest in South America.

We LOVE working with Tagua seeds. Why? Many reasons, they are collected by women in rural communities, cleaned, polished and dyed. Over the decades the Tagua seeds have become an important natural resource helping to improve the standard of living in the most impoverished of rural communities -It is the dried nut pulp of Tagua Palm and it comes from Ecuador.

Tagua is natural, eco friendly, planet friendly, its harvest protects the rain forest where it grows due to not clearing these areas for farmland, just as important the gentle giants of this planet (elephants) are saved as a substitute for ivory, it fixes CO2 when growing, it is non-toxic, even edible when fresh.
But above all, it is a beautiful material to work with and we never stop thinking of ways to use it in our designs.

We have combined goodness from all around the world to make our bold, statement pieces while also protecting the forest in which they grow...saving the planet one bead at a time I guess you could say!!
